At Silvera Food, we believe in the power of giving back. The Silvera Hope Fund, created from a portion of our company's profit, is our way of supporting those who find themselves in less fortunate situations. This fund exists because of the unwavering support from our customers, suppliers, and partners. Our mission is simple: to extend human-to-human empathy, offering hope and reassurance to those who need it most. We do this not for recognition, but because we see it as our responsibility to uplift those around us. 

On January 18th, 2025, we divided into two groups to spread some joy. 

1. Supporting Cancer Patients: Our first group visited two houses that provide free accommodation and food to cancer patients. We handed out cash in beautifully designed Tết envelopes (known as "bao lì xì" in Vietnamese), which will be especially helpful as they prepare to return home and celebrate Tết with their families. Each envelope contained a heartfelt message to encourage them in their fight against the disease. 

2. Helping a Family in Need: Our second group visited a family of three—a mother and her two children in 9th and 3rd grade. The father, who was the main financial provider, passed away due to COVID-19 four years ago, leaving the family in a difficult situation. The mother, with one blind eye, cannot work full-time. Despite these challenges, the older child has achieved good results at school. We learned about their story from an online news site and took the time to find their contact information. Our assistance included cash for tuition fees, a sack of rice, and a box of milk cartons.

We hope for nothing more than to bring a little joy to light up these lives and give them the strength to move forward. Thank you to everyone who has supported us and made the Silvera Hope Fund possible. Together, we can bring hope and strength to those who need it most.
