Silvera Food's representative and its customer from Europe took a day trip to Khanh Hoa Province, which is located in the center of Vietnam and is 45 minutes away from Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City by plane to visit three shrimp packers last August 30th, 2019. The stunning weather and smooth traffic made the whole trip favourable.

According to experienced people with shrimp, vannamei shrimp farmed in central Vietnam usually offers a darker color, which is considered to look nicer and more attactive to some buyers and a more charming taste. However, vannamei shrimp farmed in this area is always higher than vannamei shrimp farmed in the Mekong Delta region for two main reasons:
1- The land-rent in the middle of Vietnam, especially in Khanh Hoa Province, is extremely expensive because of little land area and its location adjacent to beaches, which could be used for builing resorts.
2- Vannamei shrimp here is farmed in 100% sea water, which prolongs the farming time, and the time to pay for bank interests.

Below are some photos from the trip taken by Silvera Food.
